My client is currently looking for a freelance senior site manager to oversee the construction of an industrial project in Manchester.
The successful Senior Site Manager will ensure that works are undertaken safely, efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme, project budget, quality standards, design information and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all site-based construction activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Lead site management teams, supervisors, subcontractors and specialist contractors.

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, construction methodologies and project requirements.

Monitor daily site activities, productivity, labour levels, plant and material requirements.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
4. Essential Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or equivalent position on medium-to-large-scale construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, temporary works and site logistics.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary work packages.

Sound knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality management requirements.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
