Project Planner
Company: Tier 1 contractor / Building
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

The Opportunity..
A leading tier 1 contractor is looking for a Project Planner to work on a mix of tenders and live projects in the North West. They have a full order book and work with a mix of public and private sector clients, with a regional turnover approaching £200m. Projects range from £10m to £100m+ and currently include healthcare, retail/mixed use developments, university work and various commercial schemes.
This opportunity is open to an Assistant Planner that is looking for the step up to Planner or an experienced Planner seeking a fresh challenge.
Key requirements for the Project Planner position..
- Main contracting background within building/construction sector.
- A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject software.
- Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects upwards of £10m.
- Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
Ideal Locations..
The ideal candidate will live in the Manchester / Cheshire / Merseyside areas.
