Freelance Project Manager Required - Refurbishment and Fitout

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £450-£500 per day - Umbrella PAYE
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to oversee and deliver a fit-out project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the works.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the overall delivery of the fit-out project from start to completion.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

Monitor programme, progress and key project milestones.

Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and client expectations.

Manage project budgets, costs and variations.

Chair progress meetings and provide regular project updates.

Ensure health & safety standards and site compliance are maintained.

Maintain strong communication with the client and wider project team.
Requirements

Proven experience managing fit-out projects.

Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.

Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Project Manager who can take ownership of the project, drive progress and deliver results. You must be confident managing all aspects of a fit-out project and be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
