Job title: Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Birmingham (full time office based)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum + car allowance + Bonus
Employment Type: Full time - Permanent
An established, privately owned residential developer is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer playing a key role in delivering new housing projects.
You will be working within a small team, taking a collaborative approach overseeing projects from initial land acquisition through to completion.
You will need experience working on roads and drainages.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
- Assess potential residential development sites, identifying civil engineering constraints.
- Review and coordinate civil engineering designs, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
- Provide technical support to site teams.
- Oversee the delivery and adoption of roads, drainage and associated infrastructure, including relevant Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 agreement.
- Review engineers' drawings, specifications, calculations and technical reports
Experience required for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
- Experience in civil engineering, ideally within residential development or housebuilding.
- Experience of working on housing developments from feasibility/planning through to construction and completion.
- Strong knowledge of residential roads, drainage, levels, earthworks, utilities and infrastructure.
