Summary
One of the UK's leading offsite construction companies specialising in the design and delivery of purpose-built modular solutions for sites and applications across the UK is looking to hire a Project Commercial Manager to join their team in Brandesburton, East Riding of Yorkshire.
As the Project Commercial Manager you will be responsible for providing commercial support across high-value projects, including a newly won £70 million modular build project in the North of Scotland ensuring strong commercial performance, accurate financial reporting, and effective contract management under NEC forms of contract.
The role will focus on managing the commercial viability of assigned projects, including cost control, applications, cashflow, and risk management, ensuring projects remain financially robust and aligned to contractual requirements.
To be suitable for the Project Commercial Manager Role
- 7 /10 years' experience in a commercial role
- Minimum of 5 years' commercial experience within construction
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
- Strong NEC contract experience (essential)
- Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial reporting, cost management and contract administration
- Knowledge of construction contract law desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Any experience working on modular build projects (desirable)
- Willing to travel to project sites as required with some overnight stays.
