With ambitious growth plans and continued investment in its commercial capability, they are looking to appoint a Client Director to play a key role in shaping the next chapter of the organisation's growth.

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a senior business development professional from the corporate services, fiduciary, governance, funds or related professional services sector to make a genuine commercial impact.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition whilst helping shape a scalable, high-performing business development function.

This is far more than a traditional sales role.

You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, identify new market opportunities, build long-term client relationships and play an instrumental role in developing the organisation's commercial approach as it continues to invest in future growth.

The successful individual will be equally comfortable opening doors, developing strategic relationships and representing the business at senior level across the international corporate & fund services market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new client relationships across multiple service lines.
  • Identify opportunities within existing client relationships, working closely with internal stakeholders to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
  • Build relationships with intermediaries, law firms, private equity houses, financial institutions and professional advisers.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive market engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with service line leaders to understand client needs and position the firm's full range of solutions.
  • Support the Chief Commercial Officer in developing the firm's long-term client acquisition strategy.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors, emerging trends and client demand to support future growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable client acquisition function as the organisation continues to invest in its commercial capabilities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable success winning new business within the corporate services, fiduciary, governance, fund administration or wider professional services sector.
  • Strong network across financial services, legal, private equity or international corporate markets.
  • Experience selling complex, multi-service solutions to senior decision makers.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities across multiple service lines rather than specialising in a single product.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the energy and credibility to build relationships from the ground up.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously whilst influencing senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Experience working within an international corporate services environment would be highly advantageous.
