Seeking a reliable and skilled Driver Furniture Installer! Join a fast-growing, UK-wide furnishing specialist. Work at the intersection of property, retail, and service delivery. This firm partners with letting agents, investors, and property developers to deliver high-quality furnishing solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering furniture and other items to various locations, as well as safely installing furniture in clients’ premises. This role requires excellent driving skills, physical strength, and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. This role is roughly 80% Furniture Installation and 20% driving.

Duties
  • Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, for the transportation of furniture and equipment.
  • Deliver furniture items to clients’ premises in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure placement during transit.
  • Install furniture at customer sites, following provided instructions and specifications.
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to assemble or adjust furniture as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery times and address any concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and inventory documentation.
Skills
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving.
  • Confident in using tools and power tools for building and assembling furniture.
  • Ability to perform all installation functions such as White Glove Installations (prints and mirrors), or Rental Installations (Dressing and collections).
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading, unloading, and installation tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members.
  • Good organisational skills to manage schedules and coordinate deliveries effectively.
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks involved in furniture installation.
