Navantia UK is growing, and we’re looking for talented 3D Modellers / Draughtspersons to join our ship design team in Bristol. You’ll be hands-on with cutting‑edge naval projects, turning complex ideas into high‑quality digital designs that shape real-world ships.

As part of the globally recognised Navantia Group, you’ll work at the forefront of maritime innovation using advanced 3D CAD and PLM tools, contributing to structural design, outfit/arrangements, and ship systems integration.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX
  • Producing technical outputs such as arrangements, P&IDs and BOMs
  • Managing design data within Teamcenter PLM
  • Collaborating across disciplines to resolve interfaces and integration challenges
  • Supporting design reviews and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Helping improve CAD standards, libraries, and digital workflows

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong 3D modelling and draughting capability
  • Experience with Siemens NX (or similar) and PLM systems
  • Understanding of ship design principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset
  • Eligibility for BPSS (SC clearance required for some roles)
  • Background in shipbuilding or naval vessels
  • Experience in structures, outfit/arrangements, or systems integration
  • Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
