NOW HIRING: Welders – Methil (Navantia UK)
Navantia UK, a key player in advanced shipbuilding and heavy fabrication, is expanding its workforce in Methil and is looking for skilled Time-Served Welders to join our team.
- Time-served welder – 4G minimum
- Strong experience with FCAW
- Ability to weld in all positions – Butts & Fillets
- Experience working with ceramic backing tiles
- SAW MCAW Mechanised welding systems
If you do not currently hold personal welder codings, in-house weld testing is available. Process: 136 / FCAW
You will be tested on:
- PF / Vertical Up – Root, Fill & Cap
- PA / PE – Flat Root (basic cored wire) / Overhead Fill & Cap
- Supplementary PB / Flat fillet weld
All testing is witnessed by Navantia UK personnel and an IACS representative. Methil, Fife – working on major UK maritime and industrial projects.
