Job Description
Requirements
- Time served electrician with industrial/ maintenance experience
- 17th / 18th Edition
- Extensive knowledge of fault finding
- Knowledge and experience of working to a periodic planned maintenance system – including completion of maintenance inspection records.
- Reactive maintenance repairs of mobile plant including road vehicles, forklift trucks, mobile cranes, dockside & gantry cranes, cherry pickers and scissor lifts
- Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards, and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
- Experience of working on DC systems
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics
- Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment in line with relevant legislation.
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the relevant electrical safety standards and regulations
- Knowledge of electrical legislation and understanding of RAMS / SSOW / Permits / LOTO
- High Voltage Switching / High Voltage Awareness
Qualifications
- Ideally in possession of, or confirmed willing to be trained in;
- Use of MEWP training
- Working at Height training
- Confined Space training
