Navantia UK is looking for a proactive IT Support Officer to support our growing operations at the Methil site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, understands user needs, and can translate those needs into reliable, effective technology solutions.
The Role
- Provide first- and second-line IT support for PCs, laptops, printers and related hardware
- Support users across Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
- Actively communicate with business areas to understand IT needs and priorities
- Collect, manage and coordinate IT demand with the Technology & Security team
- Advise and support colleagues on IT-related queries and solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert for IT at site level
- Support and lead business change linked to new systems or technology rollouts
- Act as a conduit between users and technical delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant IT qualification (hardware-focused preferred)
- Recent IT support experience in a busy office or operational environment
- Proven experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers and user hardware
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
- Clear communicator with a customer-focused mindset
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
