We’re doing this by creating state‑of‑the‑art sovereign defence capabilities, investing in the UK to modernise industrial facilities, and bolstering the nation's energy security. The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full‑cycle recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire top talent across the organisation. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience while aligning with company hiring standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from requisition approval to offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment strategies.
- Develop and post job advertisements across internal and external job boards, career pages, and professional networks.
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, talent databases, referrals, and networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Work closely with hiring managers to provide guidance on hiring best practices and market insights.
- Coordinate with HR teams regarding compensation, onboarding, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure recruitment activities align with company policies and employment regulations.
- Manage job requisitions and candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare offer documentation and support salary negotiation discussions when required.
- Track recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, and candidate conversion rates.
- Build and maintain talent pools for critical roles.
- Proactively identify potential candidates for future opportunities.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
Qualifications
- Experience in‑house recruitment or talent acquisition.
- 360 Recruitment experience.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and interview techniques.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
- Third level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (desirable).
- CIPD (desirable).
