Job Description

Navantia UK is growing its operations in Methil and we are looking for a skilled Scaffolder to support safe access solutions across our busy fabrication and shipbuilding projects. If you take pride in working safely at height and delivering high-quality work, we’d welcome your application.

About the Role

As a Scaffolder at Navantia UK, you will erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding structures to provide safe working platforms for teams operating at height. You’ll work from technical plans, follow strict safety standards, and ensure all scaffolding is inspected and compliant before use.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrails, toe boards and safety nets in line with design plans.

• Inspect scaffolding structures before use, weekly, and after adverse weather, carrying out repairs where required.

• Prepare work areas, set base plates, install ties and ensure compliance with PPE and environmental requirements.

• Complete site documentation and work collaboratively with supervisors, inspectors and clients.

Desirable Experience

• Use of lifting gear.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Time-served Scaffolder with industrial or construction scaffolding experience.

• CSCS or CISRS registered (Part 1 & Part 2).
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and scaffolding diagrams.
