Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Welding Supervisor to support day-to-day operations within a busy yard, vessel build, repair or inspection environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical welding experience and proven supervisory capability, who can lead frontline teams safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
As Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating daily work activities, allocating resources, supporting productivity targets, and ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures, specifications and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting welding teams on a day-to-day basis
- Leading daily safety briefings and toolbox talks
- Ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to quality standards
- Monitoring progress and escalating risks, delays or constraints
- Supporting attendance, timekeeping, conduct and team performance
- Promoting safe behaviours, teamwork and continuous improvement
- Helping develop team members through guidance and on-the-job support
We are looking for someone with an apprenticeship, advanced qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field, along with the ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate teams in a hands‑on operational environment.
