NOW HIRING: Welders – Methil (Navantia UK)

Navantia UK, a key player in advanced shipbuilding and heavy fabrication, is expanding its workforce in Methil and is looking for skilled Time‑Served Welders to join our team.

  • Time‑served welder – 4G minimum
  • Strong experience with FCAW
  • Ability to weld in all positions – butts & fillets
  • Experience working with ceramic backing tiles
  • SAW (Submerged Arc Welding)
  • MCAW Mechanised welding systems

If you do not currently hold personal welder codings, in‑house weld testing is available. Process: 136 / FCAW

You will be tested on:

  • PF / Vertical Up – Root, Fill & Cap
  • PA / PE – Flat Root (basic cored wire) / Overhead Fill & Cap
  • Supplementary PB / Flat fillet weld

All testing is witnessed by Navantia UK personnel and an IACS representative. Methil, Fife – working on major UK maritime and industrial projects.
