The Senior People Business Partner at Navan will support EMEA Go-To-Market employees, primarily located in London, France, Netherlands and Germany, while collaborating with the Global People Team. This role requires working closely with HR experts across Europe and the US. As a Senior People Success Business Partner, you will partner with People, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to ensure comprehensive support for our global workforce in this rapidly growing company. You will provide expert guidance, data-driven insights, and both strategic and tactical support to help people leaders achieve their goals while fostering a high-performing, engaged culture. The role requires a blend of HR consulting, coaching, and hands-on HR work.
Through strong relationships and effective communication, you will drive the implementation of new initiatives, address challenges, and promote improvements at both local and global levels.
What You’ll Do
- As a key player in global people initiatives and projects, you will play a vital role in the planning, alignment, communication, implementation, progress measurement, and continual improvement of our business areas.
- With a focus on both business objectives and company values, you will help drive positive change and make a real impact in close partnership with our Global Go-To-Market People team to ensure active People support to the organization.
- Consulting leadership on org design, people matters, manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment and workforce planning, hiring & retention strategies, and People program development and implementation.
- Supporting the design and implementation of engagement and recognition initiatives and programs.
- Support managers in work environment topics, as well as activities aimed to improve the workplace.
- Support and challenge leaders to help build & strengthen management abilities.
- Provide direct support & guidance to employees.
- Reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management and understand when to escalate issues.
- Lead investigations or other activities that relate to employee relations as needed.
- Support the People Development team with your regional expertise and innovative ideas.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a People Business Partner/ HR Partner.
- You have extensive experience as a People Business Partner / HR on a senior level, working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Results-driven individual that can build credibility & trust with leaders and employees across all levels.
- Deep business acumen and collaborative mindset, with the executional know-how of helping to build & scale teams globally through ongoing development, support and engagement of employees.
- Analytical and critical thinking with a metrics-driven approach to talent solutions and the ability to leverage people analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change to gain sponsorship.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, policies, and procedures, including in-depth understanding of UK labor and employment law.
- Effective communicator who is able to understand and adapt your style based on who they are communicating with.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Resilience and forward-thinking approach.
- Experience of working with speed, pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in a commercial environment.
- Experience in a matrix and international environment.
- Experience working with French labor law (a plus).
