We're creating a new Business Operations Manager role to lead transformation initiatives across our Order-to-Cash (OTC) function - taking complex, ambiguous challenges and turning them into documented, scalable processes.
You'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with our Billing, Collections, Cash Application, and Accounting teams to design and implement processes that scale our business globally.
This is a highly project-based role - you'll take ownership of standalone or custom operations, assess and optimize the teams, standardize processes to fit our operating model, build solutions for gaps, and hand off to operational teams before moving to the next transformation project.
This role offers high visibility, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how our organization operates across multiple regions and business units.
What You'll Do
- Process Design & Transformation (40%)
- Lead end-to-end transformation projects across the OTC function from requirements through implementation and handover to operations teams
- Design future-state processes for new products, services, and acquired businesses
- Document current-state operations across European regions, identifying inefficiencies and standardization opportunities
- Create comprehensive process documentation (SOPs, system guides, training materials) that enable teams to execute independently
- Take over standalone business operations, assess current state, and design integration path to standardized processes
- Project Execution & Delivery (35%)
- Deliver high-priority OTC initiatives including operations optimization, standardization, and automation expansion across business units
- Lead project-based team transformations - temporarily manage teams to assess capabilities, optimize structure, implement new processes, and transition to operational leadership
- Break down custom or standalone processes and integrate them into standardized "happy path" operations
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Product, Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and regional finance teams
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating blockers proactively
- Pilot and test new processes before scaling globally
- Execute transformation cycles - build, implement, hand off, and move to next initiative
- Systems & Automation (15%)
- Become proficient across OTC technology stack including Net Suite, billing platforms, collections tools (Stuut), payment processors (Stripe)
- Identify automation opportunities and work with technical teams to implement configurations and integrations
- Build functionality to address gaps when standardizing custom processes
- Test new system functionality and troubleshoot issues before rollout
- Support M&A integration work and post-acquisition operations standardization
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration (10%)
- Partner with operations managers (Billing, Collections, Cash Application) as a consultant on how new initiatives should be structured for scalability
- Build relationships with regional finance teams globally across multiple time zones
- Communicate project status to Senior Manager with clear updates on progress and risks
- Manage expectations during team transitions and handovers
- Key Projects & Initiatives
Your work will include initiatives such as
- Business unit integration: Taking over operations from specific business lines or regions, standardizing processes, optimizing teams, and transitioning to centralized operations
- Regional harmonization: Standardizing billing and collections across European offices
- Process automation: Identifying manual workflows and implementing scalable solutions
- New product launches: Designing OTC processes for new offerings before they scale
This role operates on a project-based model - you'll typically own a major initiative for ~6 months, see it through to successful handoff, then move to the next transformation opportunity.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in business operations, finance operations, or process improvement roles
- Background in Order-to-Cash, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or revenue operations
- Project-based transformation experience - taking over teams/processes, improving them, and handing off successfully
- Strong project management fundamentals with ability to run multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Net Suite strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills
- Experience managing stakeholders at senior leadership level
- Personal Attributes & Working Style

- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and competing priorities
