The Senior People Business Partner at Navan will support EMEA Go-To-Market employees, primarily located in London, France, Netherlands, and Germany, collaborating with the Global People Team. This role involves working closely with HR experts across Europe and the US.

As a Senior People Success Business Partner, you will partner with People, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to support our global workforce. You will provide expert guidance, data-driven insights, and both strategic and tactical support to help people leaders achieve their goals while fostering a high-performing, engaged culture. The role requires HR consulting, coaching, and hands-on HR work.
Through strong relationships and effective communication, you will drive new initiatives, address challenges, and promote improvements at local and global levels.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in global people initiatives and projects, focusing on planning, communication, implementation, and continual improvement, aligning with business objectives and company values, in partnership with the Global Go-To-Market People team.
- Consult leadership on org design, people matters, manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment, workforce planning, hiring & retention strategies, and People program development.
- Support the design and implementation of engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Assist managers with workplace environment topics and activities to improve the workplace.
- Support and challenge leaders to enhance management capabilities.
- Provide direct support and guidance to employees.
- Ensure legal compliance and reduce risk by maintaining knowledge of employment laws and escalating issues when necessary.
- Lead investigations related to employee relations as needed.
- Support the People Development team with regional expertise and innovative ideas.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience as a People Business Partner/HR Partner.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment at a senior level.
- Results-driven with the ability to build credibility and trust across all levels.
- Deep business acumen, collaborative mindset, and experience in building and scaling global teams.
- Analytical skills and a metrics-driven approach, leveraging people analytics for change management.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, especially UK labor law; experience with French labor law is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and adaptability in communication style.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Resilience, forward-thinking, and professionalism.
- Experience working in a matrix and international environment.
