Position Description The US Navy Price Fighters invite candidates with backgrounds in engineering, math, science, operations research, economics, and business to apply for a civilian acquisition career with the Navy. Price Fighters aim to help the Federal Government reduce total ownership costs for Department of Defense procured materiel, supporting a wide range of items from parts to complete weapon systems. The team provides engineering-based cost analyses and contract negotiation support across the entire acquisition spectrum, supporting the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, Coast Guard, and NASA. This position is located in Norfolk, VA, within the Price Fighters Department. Targeted Majors: Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics Responsibilities include: Supporting government clients by evaluating proposals to ensure fair and reasonable defense contract pricing, and providing analytical and technical support throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle for various weapon systems.
