Duties
- You will manage, maintain and provide oversight of a quality training program.
- You will ensure the appropriate training, qualifications and certification are available to all personnel.
- You will initiate and participate in leading teams and work group discussions for process updates, curriculum change and process improvement.
- You will advise managers on a course of action to accomplish program goals.
- You will gather budget data and prepare reports to assist department heads with establishing income and expense projections.
- You will process and track employee reimbursement requests ensuring they are in compliance with established policies.
- You will serve as the NAVSEA funding Program Coordinator acting as the primary point of contact for all funding matters.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Advises and assists management in making goal adjustments and preparing necessary requests to NAVFAC and comptrollers from serviced activities.
- Creating document requests for obligating funds for all training requested in current financial system and ensures registration and payment are completed.
- Preparing packages to send over to Financial Management (FM) Office and preparation of documents for reimbursement are completed in financial systems and payment is received by employees.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
