As a Physical Scientist, you will help support the environmental compliance and sustainability of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP), a multi-billion-dollar effort to modernize the Navy's critical shipyard infrastructure at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. This position offers structured training, rapid advancement, and a vital role in protecting our nation's resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to ensure Navy compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and policies.
- Assist senior staff with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process.
