Duties
- You will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of cost, schedule and performance.
- You will provide cost estimations, cost analysis, reconciliation of cost estimates, financial planning, formulating financial and budget requirements as well as analysis and execution efforts.
- You will plan, track and execute programmatic projects to satisfy customer requirements.
- You will develop and maintain an integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or similar type of document for tracking tasks and milestones to the level of detail requested assuring milestones are fully integrated.
- You will perform program analyses and make trade-off decisions based on performance, cost, risk and schedule within approved constraints and thresholds.
- You will prepare and present formal oral and written presentations to all levels of government and industry management on program status, funding status, new proposals and policy changes.
- You will mitigate liability and risk related to required airworthiness assessments for aircraft owned, leased, used, designed or modified by Department of Defense.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
- Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
- You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Assisting team members in prioritisation of work based on understanding of customer expectations;
- Leading team members in dealing effectively with senior officials and industry executives;
- Demonstrating technical knowledge of industrial processes, maintenance concepts and operational planning;
- Providing oversight to ensure overall compliance with military standards.
