Our client is a small, fast-moving clean technology business developing a wind propulsion system for commercial shipping. Their technology is already operating at sea, and they're now moving into early commercial deployment. They're hiring their first dedicated Project Manager.
This isn't a reporting role. You'll be driving progress — coordinating engineers, suppliers and shipyards, turning conversations into actions, and keeping projects moving across manufacturing, delivery and installation.
What they're looking for:
- You don't need to be a seasoned PM. You do need to be proactive, technically minded, and comfortable creating structure in a fast-moving environment.
- An engineering background and a desire to move into project management make for a great fit.
- Shipping knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement.
- If you've come from a manufacturing, marine or engineering environment and you're looking for broad responsibility and rapid learning in a startup, this could be the role for you.
The role covers:
- Building and managing project plans end-to-end
- Coordinating subcontract manufacturers, suppliers and shipyards
- Stakeholder management across a small, cross-functional team
- Supporting new product development
- Helping shape how they run projects as they grow
Salary: £45–60k depending on experience
