Our Fleet Operations Team are looking for experienced Chief Officers to join our award winning team on our Portsmouth to Fishbourne route. These roles are fixed term contracts of up to 9 months to cover our summer period commencing February 2025.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain smooth running of the vessel throughout the watch, ensuring the ship is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure provisions of the Safety Management System (SMS) are complied with.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure standards are achieved at the highest level.
- Ensure that Deck Patrols of the ship are carried out in the required manner.
- Overseeing the Deck Crew; assisting in berthing operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Chief Mate Unlimited ticket.
- Valid ENG1.
- Demonstrable leadership skills.
- Proficiency in personal survival techniques.
- Proficiency in survival craft & rescue boats.
- Proficiency in fire prevention and fire fighting.
- Proficiency in advanced fire fighting.
- Prior experience on Passenger ships would be preferable but not essential; excellent customer service skills are necessary.
