Job Description The Nautilus International Communications, Campaigns and Digital department is responsible for representing the internal and external messaging of the world’s largest trade union for maritime professionals. Purpose: To raise the external profile of the Union and the work of members to government, the media and public, exploiting the benefits of digital communications and social media to achieve our campaign objectives. Duties include, but are not limited to: Lead on member facing campaigns, using a variety of methods (petitions, surveys, etc.) to engage members Liaise with the Industrial and Organising teams to identify opportunities to deliver impactful industrial campaigns Liaise with Public Affairs team to identify opportunities to deliver impactful interventions in Parliament and key stakeholders across the devolved nations Collaborate with Communications team to deliver impactful campaigns messaging and content via social media and online presence Build and develop effective relationships with parliament and the devolved administrations, as well as links with trade union federations and industry bodies Produce online graphics and video content Monitor media coverage and liaise with local and national press when required Produce press releases, liaise with the media, meeting deadlines as appro…
