Purpose
The Territory Sales Manager will focus on generating and maximising commercial revenue across Greater London by servicing and selling to a cross-section of current and prospective clients, identifying and realising business opportunities. The role holder will develop commercial opportunities by acting as a NaughtOne ambassador, bringing our products to life through design passion, storytelling and influencing product selection at every stage of the specification process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying opportunities for growth
- In collaboration with the NaughtOne London sales team, deliver and exceed year-on-year sales targets
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to fully articulate the NaughtOne product portfolio
- Maximise commercial opportunities by understanding business and design trends, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices and product performance characteristics
- Capture relevant project information on Salesforce: Client Name/Project name, Dealer/D&B company, designer, timelines, potential value
- Maintain and manage accuracy of client detail and activity with Salesforce
- Provide accurate and timely reports to the Business Development Director, EMEA
- Develop strategic sales plans to manage and drive forward existing relationships with core clients and identify new business opportunities
- Build market share within the territory
- Own the day-to-day relationship and be the prime commercial contact of choice with accounts at all levels
- Leverage relationships with accounts to stay up to date about projects and help create NaughtOne leads during all stages of the specification process
- Organise and implement Product Technical Knowledge and training with assigned accounts
- Manage the London showroom sample stock in collaboration with the Samples Coordinator
- Support the London Showroom for events, meetings, holiday cover, etc
- Attend and participate in trade and industry events to increase client knowledge of NaughtOne and to maintain relationships with accounts
- Arrange and host client events, preferably in the NaughtOne London showroom, to grow relationships with key accounts
Core Competencies
- Successful sales track record – ideally 5+ years in sales, preferably within the commercial interiors sector, with a strong network in core London architectural practices, fit-out and design & build companies
- Proven ability to create or execute a clear sales strategy that delivers results
- Proven expertise in collaborative sales techniques
- Expertise and experience selling to the design community
- Experience growing and managing an opportunity-based sales pipeline within CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce)
- Ability to analyse market conditions and competition to develop strategic responses
- Strong analytical skills to identify client needs and align them to product offerings
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with clients
- Strong presentation skills to audiences of all sizes
- Numerate in preparing quotations and forecast information with attention to detail for accurate quotes and tenders
- Methodical, hardworking, ambitious and energetic
- Ability to handle objections and minimise confrontation

Dimension of role
Based from the NaughtOne showroom in central London, this role reports to the Business Development Director, EMEA. You will own and be accountable for opportunities until the point of order and will be tasked to deliver and exceed financial and activity goals as set by the Business Development Director, EMEA. The role involves travel throughout the sales territory and requires flexibility for early starts, occasional evening events and occasional nights away.
