Join us as a Customer Service, Personal Banker in Southampton. This role is based in the United Kingdom and all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom. We offer hybrid working options and flexible hours to help our people thrive. You’ll be integral in guiding and supporting our valued branch customers, helping them to achieve their financial goals. We’ll support you to achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking and build on your existing skill with full training. This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact in our branches, providing outstanding service in every interaction with customers.
  • Work with high levels of accuracy to give customers a seamless and positive experience.
  • Have proactive conversations, understand customer needs, and help with their banking needs.
  • Complete general banking requests such as payments, balance enquiries and transfers.
  • Help customers understand the different ways they can bank with us and the range of services we offer.
  • Identify opportunities to help customers with simple financial products, and collaborate with other teams to provide a seamless customer experience.

You’ll join us on a competitive starting salary of £26,010, pro rata for the hours you work. You’ll also benefit from:

Your working pattern

You’ll need to be flexible in terms of the hours you work, typically you’ll work during branch opening hours which will be between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and rotational Saturdays, and this will include some bank holidays.
