Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll support the creation of a lending framework across the Innovation Economy covering life science, healthcare technology, technology, disruptive commerce, and climate tech

We’ll look to you to play a key role within the origination of our Venture Debt team

You’ll collaborate with key partners to build out warrant capabilities, and work with coverage and other partners to deliver a seamless client experience while balancing our risk framework
What you\’ll do
As a Vice President in Venture Debt, you’ll be part of a team that executes the debt strategy for our venture lending, entrepreneurial mindset, ready to expand debt portfolio in coordination with our Venture Banking Strategy. Working with key stakeholders, you’ll effectively balance and build a risk framework that scales and protects the firm during every cycle.
You’ll also:

Support the ongoing reporting and monitoring of the portfolio to ensure coverage and credit are proactively managing risks

Effectively liaise with prospective customers, existing customers, professional investors such as private equity and venture capital funds, debt advisors, other KBIs, and credit to originate and execute new lending opportunities
The skills you\’ll need
We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of venture lending. You’ll have sound experience across cycles leading to a disciplined credit strategy to ensure the organisation weathers market volatility. This will include an understanding of exposure weight to larger and more late-stage companies and recurring revenue and enterprise-style financings.
