Join us as a Senior Relationship Manager in Commercial Real Estate FinanceWe’re looking for someone to control strategic and day-to-day support for client services, business development and relationship buildingYou’ll form part of the frontline client team and add value to the client agendaThis is an opportunity to develop and manage the strategies used to maintain strong client experiences, making sure that excellent client services are being deliveredYour time will be split between client meetings at their premises, collaborating with colleagues in the office, minimum two days a week, or as required, with the remainder working remotelyWhat you'll doIn this fast-paced role, you’ll be building deep relationships with your customers and prospects, developing quantitative and qualitative business cases for their borrowing requests, using these to estimate lending and service needs and requirements. You’ll also be providing effective business management skills through the management of existing client relationships, as well as serving as a liaison between the customer and business partners to make sure that all customer needs are met and updates are received by both parties.You’ll also be:Assuming primary responsibility for origination and non-origination activities for a specified complex portfolio of customers, with a view to growing the portfolio especially via Business Development activitiesAssisting in actively managing the overall sector portfolio considering risks, capital allocation and other commercial factorsPerforming best in class credit stewardship, transaction execution and customer service, acting as a first line of defenceIdentifying and managing risks, including proactively managing problem loans, data quality and portfolio reportingDriving the delivery of financial metrics while minimising incidences of bad debtsThe skills you'll needIn this role, you’ll need to have broad experience in the banking industry, including a regulatory and commercial environment.
