Join us as a Regulatory Analyst, Capital Optimisation. In this critical role, you’ll identify optimisation opportunities and manage the analysis of complex risk and capital calculation requirements. We’ll look to you to interrogate and interpret large volumes of data, including quantitative analysis, and assess the wider business impact across key outputs and processes. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll gain recognition for your specialist knowledge of risk and capital models. You’ll spend at least two days a week working from our London office. We're offering this role for a fixed period of 12 months from your start date.
What you'll do
- As a Regulatory Analyst in the Capital Optimisation team, you’ll own and identify solutions that deliver value to stakeholders, taking the lead in defining and realising solutions, processes, benefits, cost avoidance, new opportunities, and capability requirements.
- You’ll also capture, validate, and document business and system requirements, making sure that they align with our key strategic principles.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with colleagues across Finance, Risk, and frontline teams to interpret requirements from regulatory articles and translating these into technical requirements for implementation.
- Owning the testing of the capital output against requirements.
- Preparing artefacts to evidence the implementation of regulatory articles for article owners and regulators.
- Preparing impact analyses for senior management to support optimisation decisions.
The skills you'll need
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need specialist knowledge of risk and capital models, which will enable you to understand and interpret complex requirements related to the firm's prudential compliance and capital optimisation.
- You’ll also need:
- An in-depth understanding of the Basel Capital Framework, with a focus on Credit Risk.
- Knowledge of global legislative and regulatory approaches to implementing capital reporting requirements.
- A solid understanding of the bank's system and data architecture across Finance, Risk, and booking systems.
