Join us as a Private Banking Assistant. We’re looking for a highly motivated and personable Private Banking Assistant to join our team. You’ll be supporting our private bankers to provide an outstanding level of service for our clients. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced private bankers, allowing you to develop your knowledge and your career with us. If you don’t currently live in Jersey you’ll need to specifically state in your CV that you have the right to live and work here to be considered for this role.
What you'll do:
- You’ll be providing vital support to private bankers, assisting them in meeting the needs of their clients and reaching their performance goals.
- As a key point of contact for our clients, you’ll be strengthening relationships with them and helping to provide a seamless experience.
- Day-to-day, you’ll be preparing briefs for client appointments, identifying any suitable product needs, supporting with diary management and arranging reviews and engaging with specialists, when appropriate.
- You’ll also be making sure that all reports, documentation and systems recording is accurate, compliant and provides the best advice for clients, while adhering to internal processes and procedures.
- Creating profiles, meeting notes, wealth balance sheets, quotations and supporting marketing and application materials.
- Preparing and maintaining client files, making sure that all compliance paperwork is present.
- Preparing client communications, including letters and care calls.
- Maintaining a good understanding of internal banking, lending and investment products.
The skills you'll need:
- You’ll have a background in a banking or financial services environment, with experience of providing excellent and timely service to clients.
- We’re also looking for someone with a desire to develop their knowledge and skill set by undertaking qualifications with the bank.
- Additionally, you’ll need excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Technical knowledge of investment, credit and financial planning products.
- The ability to work within a sales and service culture.
- Good numeracy and Microsoft Office skills.
