Join us as a Pricing Analytics Manager in the Pricing CoE, working on Natwest Boxed

  • For someone with a background in data driven analysis and statistical or mathematical modelling, this is an exciting opportunity to build innovative pricing capability for NatWest Boxed, our Banking-as-a-Service (Baas) provider
  • You\’ll be instrumental in developing data and analytics capability that will integrate client specific Boxed data as well as market insight into our Savings and Loans pricing optimisation tools
  • You’ll be supporting the business in building pricing capability, visualisation and performance insight to drive effective decision making to support the ambitious commercial and financial success of new savings and lending products for well-known brands that partner with NatWest Boxed

What you\’ll do

This key role will see you helping to build pricing capabilities for NatWest Boxed by leveraging financial, price elasticity models and business constraints.

As well as this, you’ll be:

  • Sourcing, refining and Loading Boxed data into the NatWest pricing optimiser to enhance pricing strategies
  • Developing a multi-brand savings pricing tool to optimise product offerings
  • Enhancing the existing loans pricing tool to optimise loans pricing for different brands with differing strategic goals and customer focus
  • Working with Boxed colleagues and broader functions so that the model suite is integrated with other activities to ensure effective and efficient delivery
  • Providing actionable management information (MI) on all aspects of model performance
  • Creating and maintaining pricing dashboards using Tableau to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Collaborating with customer franchises and broader functions to ensure our model suite is effectively integrated with other activities

The skills you\’ll need

We’re looking for a keen problem solver who’s qualified to degree level in a numerate discipline with a track record in data driven analysis and statistical or mathematical modelling. Along with extensive banking or financial services experience, you’ll have knowledge of optimisation methods and multivariate techniques, and model development, model risk management and model monitoring experience.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of analytical and data science including SQL, Python, and Tableau or an equivalent
  • Proficiency in building pricing tools and creating visualisations using Tableau
  • An understanding and experience of statistical techniques and using various coding languages to build robust, efficient models
  • Broad experience of risk and finance systems, methodologies and processes in a retail or wholesale banking environment
  • An understanding of the regulatory regime and risk management and control processes applicable to businesses within the financial services industry
