What you'll do
- Manage and deliver Kafka, databases and other stateful workloads to engineers.
- Make changes to the platform, adding new features and ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Create solutions that enhance the developer experience and introduce new features through a self-service platform rooted in Kubernetes.
- Design and implement solutions to increase the stability, resilience and security of our stateful platform.
- Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well tested and easy to maintain and extend.
The skills you'll need
- Operational experience with distributed systems.
- Experience developing with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
- Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Good knowledge of Go.
- Experience managing stateful workloads ideally in Kubernetes.
- Knowledge and experience using a commercial cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
