What you'll do

  • Manage and deliver Kafka, databases and other stateful workloads to engineers.
  • Make changes to the platform, adding new features and ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Create solutions that enhance the developer experience and introduce new features through a self-service platform rooted in Kubernetes.
  • Design and implement solutions to increase the stability, resilience and security of our stateful platform.
  • Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well tested and easy to maintain and extend.

The skills you'll need

  • Operational experience with distributed systems.
  • Experience developing with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
  • Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Good knowledge of Go.
  • Experience managing stateful workloads ideally in Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge and experience using a commercial cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
