Join us in C&I Business Risk as an Operational Risk LeadYou’ll provide specialist Operational Risk expertise across Commercial & Institutional (C&I) RFB Non-Personal products and services, making sure key risks are identified, monitored and managed effectivelyWith a focus on Information Security, Technology, Operational Resilience and Third-Party risk, you’ll understand how these risks are connected and materialise across the franchiseBuild valuable experience across a diverse range of operational risk themes, helping shape how the franchise responds to an evolving risk landscapeWhat you’ll doAs our Operational Risk Lead, you’ll provide expert oversight and insight across Operational Risk within C&I RFB, helping strengthen risk management practices and support the delivery of business objectives. You'll drive awareness of operational risk across the franchise, helping identify priorities and implement effective mitigation strategies. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help secure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.Your work will focus on:Owning the application of the Operational Risk Appetite Statement framework across C&I RFB, driving consistency, simplification and continuous improvementIdentifying trends and emerging themes through operational risk, conducting thematic reviews and recommending actions that strengthen controls and risk managementProducing the monthly Level 1/2 Operational Risk Appetite Statements, providing insight into risk trends, emerging issues and areas requiring attentionThe skills you'll needTo thrive in this role, you’ll bring significant experience in Operational Risk, with expertise in at least two of the following areas: Information Security, Technology, Third Party and Operational Resilience.
