Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part within our Risk function that supports model risk management across our bank. We’ll provide a great platform for you to learn and develop as part of the Model Risk Governance team. You’ll focus on leading the development, maintenance and implementation of model risk policy and procedures across the Group.
What you'll do
- Lead the management and continuous improvement of model risk governance across the organisation.
- Establish and maintain policy, standards and procedures for model risk management which are aligned to internal and external requirements.
- Deliver effective communication of policy requirements and compliance levels across the organisation.
- Implement policy changes that meet the needs of internal stakeholders and align them to the enterprise-wide risk management framework and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the design and functionality of the model inventory system meets internal and external expectations.
- Develop and deliver educational materials and training on model risk management.
- Provide effective leadership to team members.
The skills you'll need
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and administering policies and procedures or risk system management or risk reporting delivery.
- Experience in policy writing, risk management and exposure in model risk.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
- Good communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently present complex issues in a user-friendly, clear, and concise format to all levels of audience.
- Good attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow-through.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise, anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities.
