Join us as a UK Corporate FX Solutions Vice President. Working as part of a sales team, highly valued by our customers, you’ll be supporting the continued growth of our UK Corporate FX Sales business in Manchester. We’ll consider candidates at both Associate and Vice President level for this role depending on the level of experience held.

What you'll do:
- You’ll work as part of a team supporting the growth of our UK Corporate FX Sales business.
- You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of large and medium-sized corporate clients, predominantly based in the North of England, and will be tasked with delivering growth through tailored client solutions, principally across FX & FX Options.
- You’ll manage new transactions through the deal approval, capital allocation and pricing process.
- We’ll expect you to ensure that our bank is best placed to support customers with their ongoing and one-off currency needs spanning cash (spot, forward and swaps), non-deliverable hedges, and FX options and solutions.
- Your responsibilities will also include:
- Using financial models to generate indicative pricing, returns on capital, potential capital impact from various structures.
- Working with product specialists, such as FX Structuring and Trading, to promote our capabilities ensuring that the bank’s resources and the client relationship is being optimised at all times.
- Helping explore opportunities to grow the Corporate FX business, working with internal stakeholders across Structured Finance, Commercial Mid Market, Structuring and Digital Products.
- Using a variety of internal and external sources to identify and prioritise prospective new business opportunities.
- Working closely with Credit teams to ensure exposure to clients remains within risk appetite, while also seeking to grow returns and the volume of business that can be undertaken with clients.
- Actively seeking learning opportunities to improve your product knowledge and sales skills.
- Undertaking periodic business-related projects to assist in the analysis and development of the business.
The skills you'll need:
- You should have proven experience in relevant financial services and a strong knowledge of the UK Corporate sector.
- You’ll need a proven track record of having successfully built and developed relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in risk management and FX products, including spot, forwards, swaps and FX options.
- Experience in driving business development along with a strong team ethic that demonstrates a passion to perform and an ability to adhere to tight timeframes with conflicting priorities.
- An understanding of the regulatory environment that affects the currencies business.
- Experience in roles with exposure to structured finance, lending and credit would be beneficial.
- Either be FCA Registered CF30 – Customer Investment Adviser, or demonstrate the ability and desire to pass necessary regulatory exams.
