You’ll provide strategic support, targeted analysis, and data insight on complex workforce needs. What you’ll do: As an HR Business Consultant, you’ll lead cross‑functional projects, support organisation design (OD) and strategic workforce planning (SWP), and use data to understand issues and develop clear recommendations. By using qualitative and quantitative data, you’ll identify root causes, generate meaningful insights, and influence senior decisions. You’ll also drive continuous improvement, share expertise across the function, and build strong collaboration across teams with clear roles and goals. Moreover, you’ll deliver business‑critical projects, turning strategic goals into practical people plans. Furthermore, you’ll be:

  • Driving cross‑functional collaboration by identifying the right subject matter experts (SMEs) and clarifying how roles, responsibilities, and tasks connect.
  • Creating clear, evidence‑based recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Continuously improving our ways of working and tools.
  • Ensuring all activity is planned, tracked, and reviewed regularly.
  • Supporting HRBPs and People Directors in defining and delivering SWP by translating business needs into scalable, workforce plans based on data and business needs.

The skills you’ll need: We’re looking for someone with experience in OD, SWP or people change, including data analysis, storytelling, and scenario planning. You’ll bring strong communication and consulting skills, together with strong commercial acumen and proven ability to navigate ambiguous, fast‑moving environments. In addition, you’ll need:

  • Experience using AI tools responsibly to support insight and decision making.
  • A proven track record of working in an agile environment.
  • Knowledge of structured problem‑solving approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and upskilling.
