Overview
In this role you lead the end-to-end ITOM solution for a banking environment, shaping architecture and delivery while aligning with security and operational standards. You will guide engineering teams, remove blockers, and own complex technical decisions to drive strategic ITOM capabilities. You’ll translate market insights into product features and foster a community of practice to share learnings. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes delivering high-impact ITOM outcomes that support customer-centric, regulated digital services.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, engineering and delivery of ITOM capabilities
- Review and approve technical decisions, designs and standards
- Define and maintain architecture standards including CSDM alignment
- Ensure solutions align with product strategy and oversee platform upgrades/releases
- Create and participate in a community of practice and share best practices
- Collaborate on roadmaps and support product lifecycle from feedback to deployment
- Drive innovative ITOM features using market insights
Key requirements
- Software development or automation scripting experience (Python or Shell)
- Strong infrastructure as code tooling experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts
- Solid Agile experience and release train leadership
- Experience supporting ServiceNow ITOM in highly regulated environments (financial services)
- ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CIS-DF, CIS-D, CIS-SM, CAD
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, routing, subnetting)
- Unix/Linux/Windows systems administration with shell scripting
