We are seeking a highly experienced and client focused senior portfolio manager to join the Portfolio Management Team within Investment Products & Solutions. You'll have significant expertise in multi-asset portfolio management, including investment model construction and oversight. You'll play a key role in meeting the investment needs of a wide range of clients. Joining a collaborative and forward thinking team, you’ll act as a trusted adviser internally and externally, representing the portfolio management team and delivering high visibility for your work.
What you'll do:
- You’ll be developing and managing investment models and portfolios in accordance with the strategic and tactical asset allocation.
- Using funds and other securities, you’ll make sure they’re constructed in a manner that’s compliant with any legal, regulatory and structural restrictions, along with ensuring their suitability across various client groups and risk profiles.
- Your role will also involve representing portfolio management in shaping our investment product offering, driving innovation and modernisation across portfolio management capabilities.
- Identifying suitable fund and security level changes to investment models and portfolios.
- Making sure that investment models and portfolios remain in line with the portfolio risk budget and performance objectives.
- Acting as a key spokesperson for the team, clearly articulating portfolio positioning, performance and the Coutts house view to internal and external stakeholders.
The skills you'll need:
- Significant experience and market leading knowledge of investment model management and construction.
- Experience of managing multi-asset investment portfolios.
- Ability to develop investment models to meet the needs of a diverse client base.
- Proven experience of discretionary client portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of markets and good knowledge of the funds universe.
- A track record of delivering investment performance through fund and security selection.
- A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross functionally across investment, product and client coverage teams.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the UCITS framework and regulatory environment.
