Join us as a Risk Analytics Manager, Economic Capital. We’re looking for a Risk Analytics Manager to join a cutting-edge team that puts the customer at the heart of everything it does. You’ll be contributing to a team of highly specialised analytics managers and process controllers. This is an opportunity to hone your strategic talents and gain valuable experience in a dynamic area of our business. We offer a hybrid way of working where you'll spend a minimum of two days per week in the office, with the rest of your time working from home.
What you'll do:
- As a Risk Analytics Manager in the Economic Capital team, you'll be developing and maintaining analytical frameworks which analyse business risk profiles and capital requirements in line with regulatory and risk policy requirements.
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to support Economic Capital and Credit Risk ICAAP P2A assessments.
- Preparing and delivering data-driven insights for business consideration to a range of stakeholders.
- Carrying out governance and control activities, including deliverables tracking, reviewing or preparing meeting minutes, reporting on process and control environments, and managing control remediation activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and decision-making through data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Driving change initiatives that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of analytical processes and controls.
The skills you'll need:
- To succeed in this role, you’ll bring banking or financial services experience, along with experience of risk systems, methodologies, and processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment.
- You’ll also be educated to degree level in a numerate discipline with experience in data-driven analysis.
- Experience of Economic Capital methodologies, ICAAP, and capital adequacy frameworks would be beneficial, but not essential.
- A track record of delivery across multiple businesses, involving complex stakeholder, process, and technology issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- An interest in applying AI, automation, and data-led solutions to improve risk management processes and business outcomes.
- Good project management skills.
- The ability to collaborate positively with others, contributing ideas while embracing opportunities to learn from diverse perspectives and experiences.
