Overview

In this role you will lead senior client relationships for private funds, applying your FX expertise to tailor solutions and position Nat West as a trusted partner.

You will shape growth strategies, collaborate across the bank to originate opportunities, and deepen Funds & Sponsor client relationships.

You will drive automation and uphold rigorous risk, conduct, and governance standards.

This is a high-impact role in a cross-functional, growth-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Deepen senior client relationships and deliver tailored FX solutions
  • Identify and convert opportunities to drive sustainable growth across existing and new clients
  • Build and maintain an external network and represent Nat West at forums
  • Collaborate across the bank to strengthen client relationships and uncover cross-sell opportunities
  • Drive data-driven automation to streamline workflows and enhance delivery
  • Support a high-performing, collaborative culture within the global FX team
  • Apply disciplined risk management and support efficient use of capital and balance sheets
  • Ensure product delivery meets rigorous conduct, control and governance standards
  • Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in currencies sales with a proven track record of building senior client relationships and delivering sustainable growth
  • Knowledge of FX and FX Options, including structured hedging solutions
  • Understanding of complex fund structures, credit and ISDA documentation
  • Strong commercial judgement and deep knowledge of private capital markets and market participants
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment affecting currencies business
  • Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into commercial outcomes
  • Excellent relationship management, influencing, communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative leadership and ability to connect teams across the bank
  • Ideally FCA registered or able to complete registration in timeframe
