What you'll do
We’re looking for an experienced POS Finance/BNPL leader to be responsible for helping launch and scale NW Boxed’s retail finance propositions.
As a product and industry expert you'll also provide technical guidance during the sales process, by working with Sales Leads to identify client solution requirements and incorporate into successful propositions.
Day-to-day, you’ll
- Play a leading, strategically important role in launching NW Boxed into the POSF market early in 2027, and establishing and executing an ambitious growth plan.
- Work directly day to day with the Head of Sales and product and mission teams to rapidly learn about Boxed and our propositions.
- Work very closely with a number of teams including Product, Commercial, Risk and Credit to proactively develop POSF propositions that will win in our targeted market.
- Play a driving role in developing Boxed’s POSF go-to-market strategy including a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market developments and trends.
- Act as a POSF/Boxed evangelist in the market such as writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at and attending industry events, etc.
- Partner with Sales Leads to scope complex solutions and integrations with leading UK merchants and other technology or introducer partners.
- Participate in the continuous improvement and growth of the Natwest Baa S products by making technical contributions and by providing feedback from the field
- The skills you'll need
This is an opportunity for an experienced POS Finance/BNPL professional with a strong functional and technical background and a deep understanding of how the industry operates.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your industry experience to the exciting challenge of launching and scaling Boxed’s retail finance propositions.
In addition, you’ll need to have excellent commercial and financial acumen.
You’ll also be expected to have
- Proven solution engineering and/or pre-sales/technical sales selling solution experience in enterprise software or Saa S, working with middleware, web services technologies, APIs, SOA, ESB etc.
- Experience of the Point of Sale Finance or BNPL industries in the UK. Ideally having worked for a number of years at a recognised provider.
- Strong business and technical acumen working with enterprise institutions as a delivery consultant or employee, with a proactive mentality and approach to problem solving.
- Excellent presentation abilities and composure in front of all levels of technical and business audiences including C-level executives.
- Experience of scoping Proofs of Concept (Po Cs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively in both the analysis and pricing of delivery projects.
