Join us as an Operations Transformation Lead. Play a key leadership role in building the Operations Transformation team, focused on strengthening the bank’s operational capability by identifying simplification opportunities and delivering specialised support for bank-wide initiatives. You’ll lead a cross-functional, critical portfolio of work that has a global scope. It’s a chance to take on a high exposure role and advance your career with us. You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend at least twice a week working from our London, Manchester or Edinburgh office.
What you'll do:
- You’ll lead a team of transformation professionals driving our operations transformation, identifying problems, designing solutions, and setting them up for delivery, always with clear customer outcomes at the centre.
- You’ll lead a strategic portfolio of work, taking accountability for all centrally run activities including Operations FTE tracking and delivery of the bank-wide productivity tool, while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and franchises and influencing decisions in line with business objectives.
- You’ll also be accountable for the delivery of financial and non-financial strategic objectives across the portfolio, working closely across operations, technology, and data & analytics teams to identify and implement streamlined solutions.
- It’ll also be your responsibility to:
- Design and shape new business opportunities into proposals and execution ready initiatives.
- Drive decision making around the resourcing of portfolios in collaboration with senior colleagues and in partnership with stakeholders.
- Establish and manage a governance framework appropriate to the complexities of the initiatives, making sure that all deliverables satisfy the requirements, and they adhere to the agreed governance framework.
- Identify the programme risks and business risk appetite, taking accountability for risk management, assessing and understanding the impacts of other programmes and the material risks in other areas.
- Empower and lead teams, setting goals and objectives and carrying out regular individual assessments and appraisals, aligned to our performance management framework, and support capability development.
