This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a highly innovative and supportive environmentYou’ll collaborate with component owners to create roadmaps and manage the lifecycle, taking customer feedback, new feature requests and production issues into consideration. As you continue to manage the selection, creation and maintenance of the NSX Network components, you’ll ensure that our solutions comply with the bank’s requirements and responsibilities.You’ll also:Collaborate with our vendors and Cloud Infrastructure to Iidentify new ways to solve problems and enhance performance using tech toolsProvide operational support for pattern or product-related issues, and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as codenetwork solutionsBuild awareness of design-thinking tools and techniques across the bank to improve productsWork with key stakeholders to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible serviceThe skills you'll needTo thrive in this role, you are required to have experience in NSX and network engineering. software development or automation scripting, such as Python or Shell, would be advantageous but are not essential. You’ll be knowledgeable in Network deployment, distributed firewalls and troubleshooting. We’ll expect you to bring a good understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets, with the ability to create the vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform and domain.In addition, you’ll have:Experience of the development of CI or CD pipelines using modern toolingExperience in Network testing practices and tools, as well as observability tools and techniques to continuously improve solutionsPrivate cloud technology knowledge such as IaaS, PaaS and VSAN technologiesExperience of working with technology deployed in a private cloudStrong collaborative and communication skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearlyHours35Job Posting Closing Date:03/09/2026Ways of Working:Remote FirstSummaryLocation: Edinburgh; LondonType: Full time
