Join us as an iOS Software EngineerThis is an opportunity for a driven Software Engineer to take on an exciting new career challengeDay-to-day, you'll be engineering and maintaining innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutionsIt’s a chance to hone your existing technical skills and advance your career while building a wide network of stakeholdersYou’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend at least six days a month working from an office or hubWhat you'll doIn your new role, you’ll be working within a mobile feature team to engineer iOS applications, scripts and tools, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.You will design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI and modern iOS frameworks. You’ll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.You’ll also be:Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the businessWorking in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioningCollaborating to optimise our software engineering capabilityDesigning, producing, testing and implementing our working software solutionsWorking across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operationsThe skills you'll needTo take on this role, you’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, along with an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.You’ll have an background in mobile application development, with strong experience in iOS application development and knowledge on application quality through unit testing, UI testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.You’ll also need:Proficiency in Swift and UIKit and/or SwiftUIExperience with RESTful APIs and backend service integrationAn understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM-C or Clean ArchitectureExperience with dependency management tools such as Swift Package ManagerFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks such as XCTest, Snapshot and UI testingAn understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processesKnowledge of Git-based source control and collaborative development workflowsHours35Job Posting Closing Date:13/08/2026Ways of Working:HybridSummaryLocation: LondonType: Full time
