You’ll shape strategic decision-making across our Commercial & Institutional Banking (C&I) franchise influencing priorities and outcomes through high‑quality, evidence‑based insight. You’ll deliver robust, timely and commercially impactful insights, turning complex customer and business data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. What you’ll do:

  • C&I plays a central role in supporting the bank’s business customers, from growing SMEs to large corporates and institutions, across a complex and evolving landscape. As our Insight Analysis Lead for C&I, you’ll lead the synthesis of data from multiple sources to generate actionable, franchise-focused insight.
  • You’ll deliver compelling analysis that informs strategic decision-making, business growth priorities and customer outcomes, while making sure analytical outputs align to franchise goals, central standards and quality expectations.
  • Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the C&I franchise, using evidence-based insight to influence decisions and shape strategic direction.
  • Measuring and tracking the outcomes and return on investment from key decisions, feeding insight and learning back into future strategies and priorities.
  • Sponsoring and shaping new analysis and research initiatives that respond to emerging franchise needs and evolving customer dynamics.
  • Collaborating with analysts and delivery partners to share best practice, uphold data integrity and deliver high-quality insight at pace.
  • Mentoring, developing and quality-assuring analysts, building capability and securing consistent, high standards across analytical outputs.

The skills you’ll need:

  • To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience across data analysis, customer insight, business intelligence or related disciplines.
  • You’ll have a strong track record of delivering strategic, commercially sound insight to senior stakeholders, with the ability to synthesise complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Highly developed stakeholder‑management skills will enable you to influence at senior levels and make sure insight meaningfully shapes decision‑making.
  • You’ll also bring experience leading or mentoring analysts, embedding consistent standards and supporting the development of high-quality analytical capability.
  • High data literacy, including hands-on experience with data manipulation or Voice of the Customer tools.
  • Proficiency with data visualisation and analytics tools, enabling insight to be communicated clearly and effectively.
  • A strong understanding of cloud‑based data environments and data governance principles.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge thinking constructively and champion insight‑led decision‑making across the organisation.
