What you’ll do:
- C&I plays a central role in supporting the bank’s business customers, from growing SMEs to large corporates and institutions, across a complex and evolving landscape. As our Insight Analysis Lead for C&I, you’ll lead the synthesis of data from multiple sources to generate actionable, franchise-focused insight.
- You’ll deliver compelling analysis that informs strategic decision-making, business growth priorities and customer outcomes, while making sure analytical outputs align to franchise goals, central standards and quality expectations.
- Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the C&I franchise, using evidence-based insight to influence decisions and shape strategic direction.
- Measuring and tracking the outcomes and return on investment from key decisions, feeding insight and learning back into future strategies and priorities.
- Sponsoring and shaping new analysis and research initiatives that respond to emerging franchise needs and evolving customer dynamics.
- Collaborating with analysts and delivery partners to share best practice, uphold data integrity and deliver high-quality insight at pace.
- Mentoring, developing and quality-assuring analysts, building capability and securing consistent, high standards across analytical outputs.
The skills you’ll need:
- To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience across data analysis, customer insight, business intelligence or related disciplines.
- You’ll have a strong track record of delivering strategic, commercially sound insight to senior stakeholders, with the ability to synthesise complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Highly developed stakeholder‑management skills will enable you to influence at senior levels and make sure insight meaningfully shapes decision‑making.
- You’ll also bring experience leading or mentoring analysts, embedding consistent standards and supporting the development of high-quality analytical capability.
- High data literacy, including hands-on experience with data manipulation or Voice of the Customer tools.
- Proficiency with data visualisation and analytics tools, enabling insight to be communicated clearly and effectively.
- A strong understanding of cloud‑based data environments and data governance principles.
- A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge thinking constructively and champion insight‑led decision‑making across the organisation.
