Join us as a Digital Product Owner - Investments. In this role, you’ll support the digital delivery of our organisation through digital experiences, propositions, capabilities and releases. Your daily responsibilities will see you working collaboratively to provide great, end-to-end customer experiences as you deliver a prioritised backlog to bring propositions to pilot. This role will be offered for a period of twelve months. You will work from home some of the time but be expected to be in the London office two days per week.
What you’ll do:
- Identify opportunities and provide insights that impact our digital investment experiences across Coutts.
- Maintain the release train, including plans and estimation and the management of interdependencies to provide cross-team synchronisation on how work impacts the customer.
- Lead the development and improvement of one or more digital feature sets by working with designers, delivery teams and engineers to deliver customer outcomes.
- Ensure that the backlog is maintained and that teams collaborate effectively.
- Create and drive the delivery of the experience backlog while effectively prioritising work to maintain completion of sprint goals and tasks.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams and support the identification of risks and issues.
- Manage the delivery of change from vision and inception through to post-live validation and monitoring, making sure customer experiences and engagement impacts are considered.
- Facilitate the planning, timing, and execution of delivery roadmaps and backlog through aligning the vision, planning and interdependencies of many teams.
- Provide cross-team synchronisation through the delivery of the portfolio and contribute to the platform vision and roadmap.
The skills you’ll need:
- Ability to define and implement strategic direction for future customer experiences and provide expertise on digital channels, including mobile and online and through digital propositions.
- Experience of using design methodology to execute strategic propositions and the ability to understand the strategic vision, with a focus on business outcomes.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking through support and the delivery of customer outcomes.
- Digital product expertise within investments.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the technical architecture and use in the future and the ability to communicate and engage with colleagues at all levels.
- Understanding of how to drive innovative ideas through Agile ways of working and harnessing digital and technological advances that benefit our customers.
- Experience of adapting to quickly changing environments, sharing knowledge and coaching relevant teams.
- Be purpose-driven, and ready to drive positive change for the organisation while taking a holistic view of processes to improve and encourage others to do the same.
- Experience of building and maintaining a positive working relationship with stakeholders across multiple franchises and how to relate work to the strategic vision of the feature team.
