Join us as a Balance Sheet Management Analyst. We’ll look to you to provide vital input into the design and execution of strategic transformation projects, supporting our capability to enhance process efficiency and data integrity across our Commercial & Institutional (C&I) business. Supporting our business and technology teams, you’ll help deliver key strategic objectives by gathering business requirements, analysing processes and data, and supporting the implementation of new solutions that make it easier for our colleagues to serve customers. What you’ll do:
- Support the production of high-quality project documentation, including business requirements, process maps, test plans, and implementation guides.
- Contribute to the regular change resource and investment planning cycle, ensuring project activities align with strategic priorities.
- Support collaboration between business, change, and technology teams, working with key stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Act as a key delivery resource on strategic transformation projects, starting with the implementation of a new document storage solution for the C&I franchise.
- Develop analysis of existing C&I processes and systems to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Support project plans and controls to deliver project outcomes and services.
- Oversee the production of weekly and monthly project reports for key committees, detailing progress, risks, and issues.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and bank-wide policies, including the proactive identification and management of risks.
- Support a culture of continuous development.
The skills you’ll need:
- Experience in a banking environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to understand complex challenges and contribute to effective solutions.
- An understanding of the C&I business, including its products, client lifecycle, data hierarchies, and underlying systems.
- Experience in business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering for technology or process change projects would be a plus.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage credibly with stakeholders from different business and technology functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in or with project delivery or transformation teams would be a plus.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management frameworks, and the importance of data governance and security.
