Overview
In this role you will manage electronic risk and plan for market events, overlaying market views with pricing and risk for both electronic and voice FX.
You collaborate across quant, technology and sales to implement desk strategy and improve profitability and volumes with clients.
You’ll drive development of pricing, hedging ideas, and an analysis framework while ensuring robust controls and regulatory alignment.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role in a global team, offering exposure to desk-wide initiatives and potential for impactful change.
Responsibilities
- Manage electronic risk book and respond to market events
- Overlay market views, price, and risk-manage voice requests
- Review data to optimise pricing and hedging for profitability and volumes
- Collaborate with trading and quant teams to refine analysis frameworks
- Work with sales to understand client needs and optimise client setup and spreads
- Drive e FX product improvements, generating novel pricing and hedging ideas
- Coordinate with risk, technology, and controls teams to meet regulatory requirements
