Responsibilities
- Lead, invent, and design websites and software applications delivering compelling and seamless customer experiences across native and browser-based experiences on desktop and mobile platforms.
- Develop high level storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas for both strategic programmes and streams of work.
- Work closely with product owners, researchers, visual designers and development to create new products and features and extend existing ones.
- Translate customer insights into designed experiences and form a compelling story around it.
- Own the delivery of user‑centred solutions within project timeframes and objectives working with Agile project teams and key stakeholders.
- Commission and participate in user research and testing activities, drawing insight to inform design decisions.
- Help project stakeholders understand and define customer value.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a leadership mindset and an impressive portfolio demonstrating UX design thought leadership and influence across organisations.
- Extensive experience delivering UX solutions, including lo‑fidelity wireframes, journey maps and prototypes.
- Significant experience supporting user‑centred design processes and creating artefacts for user testing and concept communication.
- Strong design leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge and experience of web and mobile experience design, and a background in human‑computer interaction or related field.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and multiple connected teams across programmes.
Salary: £20,000–£32,000
